We started Veros because we were tired of being talked at.

Every outlet has an angle. Every anchor has a take. The news became a performance, built to confirm what you already believe, engineered to keep you angry, and optimized for clicks over clarity. The result is a public that knows more about what their side thinks and less about what actually happened.

That's the problem Veros exists to fix.

We cover the legal and political forces shaping America today, court decisions, prosecutions, legislation, elections, the way they should be covered. With sources on screen. Both sides represented. No agenda driving the story. No emotional music under a political claim. Just the facts, in plain language, every time.

We believe an informed public is a free public. And we believe you deserve to make up your own mind.

I'm a Political Science student at the University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a pre-law track. I grew up watching the news the way most people do, passively, trusting that what I was being told was the full picture.

It wasn't.

The more I studied political science and law, the clearer it became that the media ecosystem wasn't built to inform. It was built to retain. Outlets pick sides. Stories get framed. Facts get selected. And the audience pays the price.

I built Veros to be the outlet I wished existed. Independent, sourced, and genuinely nonpartisan. Not in the watered-down "both sides" sense, but in the sense that the truth is the only agenda we're serving.

We're just getting started. But the mission is clear and it isn't changing.

Every story steelmans all positions. We don't pick winners, we present the strongest version of each argument.

Fact vs. opinion, labeled

When we editorialize, we say so. Facts are facts. Opinion is clearly marked as opinion.
